Masih ingat film Karate Kid yang ngetop tahun 80-an? Ini dia original soundtracknya.Pertama kali nonton Karate Kid waktu itu masih kelas 6 SD. Tapi baru tahu ada soundtracknya saat SMA tahun 1996. Awalnya, aku kira lagu ini dinyanyikan oleh Band Chicago. Ternyata vokalisnya doang.

ANNIE’s SONG (John Denver)

Saat masih hidup, aku sama sekali tidak mengenal siapa John Denver. Disamping emang gak pernah ketemu dan berkenalan, aku saat itu masih kecil kali.. Belakangan aku ketahui bahwa ternyata dia adalah salah satu Legenda musik Country yang sangat dihormati. Kabarnya, dia meninggal di pesawat jet pribadinya yang kecelakaan. Kok ya kebetulan persis seperti lagu legendarisnya “Leaving on the jet plane”. Lagu lain yang ngetop abis adalah “Country Roads” tapi yang paling romantis menurutku ya lagu “Annie’s Song” ini.

FAREWELL TO YOU (White Lion)

Termasuk telat suka lagu ini. tepatnya tahun 2005 lalu padahal lagunya udah cukup lama. Kebanyakan orang suka Till Dead do us part, you're all I need, atau when the children cry (including me) dari grup Band yang vokalisnya skrg jadi suaminya Ayu Azhari. Suka lagu ini gara-gara ada teman yang sering nyanyiin lagu ini saat nongkrong di depan rumahnya di tengah malam. Ikutan begadang juga sih hehe..
